Loftus Oval Rest Site changes: Morning Tea moved to Red Cedar

Unfortunately, this week the Sutherland Shire Council informed us that we are not permitted to use Loftus Oval as a Rest Site this year. The Oval cannot be used at this time following recent redevelopment works.
We are very disappointed to lose such a beloved Rest Site for the 2024 MS Gong Ride, but will offer a service site only at Loftus. The services which will be available at Loftus are:
- Toilets
- Bike Mechanics
- Water
- First aid
All morning tea will now be served at the Red Cedar Rest Site.
Past riders of the MS Gong Ride will remember one of the most scenic Rest Sites of the ride: Red Cedar Flats! If this is your first year, you are in for a treat, literally!
Be sure to stop by to enjoy the features of the Red Cedar Rest Site:
- Free morning tea for all riders!
- Free water and sports drink station!
- Pre-paid lunch packs can be collected from Red Cedar!
- Option to purchase barista-made coffee and sausage sizzle!
Have a well-earned rest break at Red Cedar and recharge in the middle of the Royal National Park.
While the Loftus Oval Rest Site will be missed this year, we hope to see you stop by Red Cedar!
