YOUR 2024 MS GONG RIDE EVENT BIB
Collecting your Rider Bib before the event is crucial! Your bib is your ticket to participate in the ride and helps us identify you throughout the event.
This year, we made the difficult decision to move to Bib Collection, like many other large-scale events in Australia, to save costs and ensure the MS Gong Ride can continue fundraising as much as possible for people living with multiple sclerosis.
At Bib Collection you’ll have the chance to pick up any MS Gong Ride Rewards you’ve earned through your amazing fundraising efforts and it’s a fantastic opportunity to meet the MS Gong Ride team. We can’t wait to say hello!
Your Event Bib must be attached to your bike at all times during the Ride.
Your bib is your ticket to participate and helps us identify you throughout the event. No bib, no ride!
BIB COLLECTION
We encourage you to coordinate with your fellow riders and team members to take advantage of our Event Week Bib Collection wherever possible. See below for dates, times and locations.
If you don't have your rider bib on Sunday, volunteers at the Tempe and Engadine start sites will be able to assist.
Please arrive at least 60 minutes before your start wave time to collect your bib, as lines may be long.
If you have misplaced the cable ties provided to attach your rider bib to the handle bars of your bike, you can collect some from the bib collection area at both start sites.

BIB COLLECTION FAQs
Why is Bib Collection important?
Collecting your bib before the event is crucial! Your bib is your ticket to participate in the ride and helps us identify you throughout the event. Plus, you’ll have the chance to pick up any MS Gong Ride Rewards you’ve earned through your amazing fundraising efforts. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet the MS Plus Gong Ride Team, your dedicated pit crew behind this incredible event. We can’t wait to say hello!
Do I need to collect my own bib?
No, a fellow rider, team member or friend can collect your Event Bib on your behalf.
One person from your team picking up everyone’s bib? That is completely fine, you can have someone collect your bib for you or even for the whole team! Just make sure they have the full name you used to register for the event.
On Sunday, riders will only be able to collect their own bib at the Start Site.
Remember: No Bib, no Ride.
Can I claim a Ride for Good or Ride for Change bib if I reach the fundraising milestone before the event?
Yes! We will provide event bibs based on the fundraising tier reached at the time of collection. If you reach a new fundraising milestone and wish to upgrade your Event Bib before the ride, you can collect a new bib from Bib Collection at the Start Site.
Just want your bonus wearable bib to skip the queues? No worries! We'll have wearable Ride for Good and Ride for Change bibs available for collection from the MS Merchandise Marquee at the Finish Village so you can take advantage of the Express Lanes AND pick up your Fundraising Rewards at the same time!
Why did some riders receive their bib in the mail?
All Ride for Change participants who raised $1,000 by midnight on Wednesday 16 October received their Event Bib posted to them free of charge. Riders who are living with multiple sclerosis also received their bib mailed to them at no cost, if registered prior to the postage cutoff date.
We provided a limited time offer for riders to purchase their bib postage for $5. This offer ended at midnight on Wednesday 16 October to ensure that all purchased bibs could be packed and posted in time. We expect all posted bibs to arrive by Wednesday 30 October, dependent on Australia Post delivery schedules.
