Pedalling with Purpose: Join Me in the Fight Against MS!
This November, I’m thrilled to be back for the 2024 MS Gong Ride, an event that’s been making a difference since 1981. After a few years away, I’m more determined than ever to push myself and contribute to this incredible cause.
Why am I fundraising?
It’s hard to believe, but the last time I did this ride, I was recovering from a friend’s bucks night the night before – let’s just say it wasn’t my finest hour! Despite the hangover, I rallied and rode (some, but not all, of the course). This year, I’m in a different place. I’ve been focusing on improving my fitness and working on myself, and I’m ready to take on this challenge properly.
Multiple sclerosis is a relentless disease that often strikes people in the prime of their lives – the average age of diagnosis is just 30. There’s no known cure, and the impact can be devastating. Symptoms range from vision loss to chronic pain and mobility issues.
But we can make a difference together. The funds we raise will go towards crucial services, treatments, and support that help people with MS maintain their independence, stay connected to work, and continue being active members of the community.
This ride is more than just a challenge – it’s a way to contribute to a cause that impacts so many lives. Your support, whether through a donation or simply spreading the word, will make a tangible difference.
Thank you for standing with me in this fight against MS!
Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞
